Video Fiberscope System, VBF Series. Machida’s latest product is a Video Fiberscope System, the VBF Series. This is a regular fiberscope with a camera built into the body. Blending Borescopes. These Borescope Blending Systems were developed jointly by Pratt & Whitney and Machida to detect and repair (blend, rework) Foreign Object Damage (F.O.D.) They allow repair without removal and disassembly of the engine from the aircraft. Nearly thirty airlines are saving time and money utilizing this scope.

Borescopes with Working Channel Tools. Permit the passage of tools through the borescope control body to the distal tip for performing physical tasks at the examination site. Such tasks may include probing, scraping, grasping, brushing, suction, spraying, irrigation and retrieval of an object.

Pratt & Whitney JT8D Combustion Chamber Inspection Kit, Model MJ072000MA. Machida's JT8D inspection kit allows complete inspection of all nine combustion cans and all HP vanes. The important areas that can be thoroughly inspected include fuel nozzles, combustion can liners, crossover tubes, transition duct, and first stage turbine nozzle guide vanes.
